Sam Sohbat-zadeh was a 14-year-old Kurdish Kermanj child living in Tehran. Known for his resilience and sense of responsibility, he had been working since the age of ten to help support his family, facing the hardships of life as a working child from a young age. On January 8, 2026, Sam was killed during the popular protests in Shahr-e Qods (Ghal'e Hassan-khan), Tehran. He died after being shot in the head by security forces during the crackdown on demonstrators. Following his death, his family transported his body by private vehicle to his ancestral hometown in Ardabil Province. He was laid to rest on January 10, 2026, in the cemetery of Lanbar village, located in the Khalkhal region.
سام صحبتزاده، کودک ۱۴ ساله کُرد کرمانج و ساکن تهران بود. او که از ده سالگی برای کمک به معیشت خانوادهاش کار میکرد، یکی از کودکان کار بود که با وجود سن کم، مسئولیت بزرگی را برای حمایت از خانواده بر عهده داشت. در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴، سام در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در قلعه حسنخان (شهر قدس) تهران، بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به ناحیه سر جان خود را از دست داد. پس از این واقعه، خانوادهاش پیکر او را با خودروی شخصی به زادگاهش در استان اردبیل منتقل کردند. پیکر این نوجوان در تاریخ ۲۰ دی ۱۴۰۴ در آرامستان روستای لنبر، از توابع شهرستان خلخال، به خاک سپرده شد.
